Course Content
Emergency Vehicle Operator II (CEVO II) is an examinable training course certified by the National Safety Council. CEVO was introduced to drivers of ambulances, fire and police vehicles since the early 1990’s. It is now modified and is considered as the standard for driver training for operators of ambulances and other emergency vehicles. The operators get to refresh and improve their driving skills in emergency and non- emergency situations.
The course is designed in two components; a 6-8 hour theoretical session and CEVO Maneuvering Skills practical components. These two components put together, equip the emergency vehicle drivers with the skills required to ensure the safety of the occupants of the vehicle while on the road.
